| It's been a long time, we know: excuses
count for naught, but fresh enthusiasm does, so enjoy the old picture
galleries and please drop us a line. You all know we miss you and think
about you, and if you happen to make it to San Antonio for a spell you
know we'll pick up right where we left off... so here's some news and
snapshots to get you ready.
I tried an image gallery system that was a little different than before - the
photo sets are arranged like subdirectories with a single thumbnail representing
either entire albums or whole sets of albums.Currently there is a four-album
set labeled 1995 to get everyone caught up through the second half of
that year, starting with right after Hanna's first birthday.
Next there is a 2006 album that has but a single set of pictures so far,
but a lot has happened since then, of course.. Using this embedded photo manager was supposed to make it easy to add fresh pictures in a timely
fashion, allowing us to concentrate on selecting and touching up the best
of the best instead of having to generate all sorts of web pages to display
them.
These galleries have navigation in the upper right, with a nifty Javascript
powered slideshow option that will go through all the pictures full screen
if you want to see them that way. It might be worth it to go through them
individually if you like to read the little captions or if you want to
leave comments on a picture.

Mo's Teaching Technology at a magnet school to 7th and 8th Graders!
After two years teaching bilingual elementary kids at Las Palmas, an opportunity to teach technology to middle schoolers at a fantastic Northeast ISD school came his way. Krueger has two magnet programs and now he's able to teach stuff like Broadcast Journalism and Web Design, as well as a whole lot of stuff in between. It's been a crazy year, but it's all coming together now and what a fantastic time he's going to have at this "showpiece" school.
Dawn's Working Tech Too!
Her new job in tech support is finally starting to make sense and she's got a great bunch of folks she's working with. Hopefully with retirement around the corner there won't be any more deployments, but stay tuned.... |
