November 27, 2000 Update

I wonder if Korea will be much like Japan? Yumm.... the pillows they serve up here in business class are so tasty!

Somehow, the view from business class seems a tiny bit better too.

We made it! Now we just have to find the bus to the hotel, so I can get some rest... (just kidding).

This is the remarkable Dragon Hill Inn at the Yongsan Army base in downtown Seoul. We were lucky to get a room! We only spent a short time there, but the accomodations and service were absolutely marvelous.

This was the shop where we bought some Gore-Tex rainsuits... unfortunately, they didn't have anything in my size. So sad.

We had a bit of excitement while Mommy was off at her first day of class. A fellow came to fix the shower and ended up filling the room with steam and couldn't shut it off. We thought that was pretty neat, but then the alarms went off and the firemen came, and they were COOL! I even got one of them to hold me for a picture... what a day.

I KNEW you were holding out on me... this stuff is absolutely DELICIOUS!! Tastes like... MORE!!!

Oh wow! You mean these cool things belong to me? Well, what am I supposed to do with them?

My parent sure are silly sometimes... they seem to have as much fun touring the local grocery stores as they do historical monuments and the like.

This kind gentleman turned my name into a beautiful work of art. I can't wait to hang it in my room.

This is a traditional Korean meal, of which I did NOT get my fair share. It sure looked delicious, though...

Something about this man's demeanor seems like it should be familiar.. hm... maybe it will come to me in a month or two.

Deep in the heart of Seoul's Nom Dae Moon market, this excited shopkeeper whisked me off to see her friends. Mom and Dad were not amused.

At the end of a very, very long day, an improvised stroller helps Mommy conserve her strength for the final stretch.
